Calculate, modify, or enforce child support obligations. We help parents get fair support based on Oklahoma guidelines.
Oklahoma Child Support Guidelines
Oklahoma uses an Income Shares Model. The court assumes a child should receive the same proportion of parental income they would have gotten if the parents lived together.
The Formula:
Both parents’ gross incomes are added.
The state table determines the basic support obligation based on the total income and number of children.
This amount is split proportionally based on each parent’s share of the total income.
Adjustments are made for healthcare, childcare, and parenting time.
Can I Modify My Child Support Order?
Yes. If there is a material change in your income changes you can petition the court for a modification.
Do not stop paying support without a court order. This leads to contempt charges and wage garnishment. We file the modification petition for you.
